3 Sentence Ficathon Fills Batch 1
Including Leverage, White Collar, Ghost Trick, Hades, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Bastion, Final Fantasy VI
Leverage, Any, craving a burger
Yes, she could wait, but he was so slow, like every one had to be this perfect treasure as if they wouldn't just get gobbled up in flash, and she was starving after all the vent crawls and dives, so one more vent and one more easing down her line to the tempting target right below and snatch! One delicious burger grabbed and back up she went with a grin as Eliot whirled around from the grill.
"Dammit Parker!"
White Collar, Neal Caffrey, happy endings
Neal had a lot of dreams and plans for his future--so many ways to his fairy tale end. Life likes to throw multiple curve-balls and it's fun to dance on them all, but he never planned for this. Peter and Elizabeth's banter fills his ears, Satchmo has taken up residence on his feet and as he bends over to scratch behind the dog's ears he reflects that none of his plans and schemes prepared him for this.
Any, Any, back to the drawing board (Ghost Trick)
"So much for one step ahead," Jeego growled.
"We'll only make a better plan," Tengo replied with no less friendliness.
If only they were aware of the flick of a black tail, the swish of a white coat and an amused smile tucked behind a beard, they might have been better prepared for just how many times they would have to go back to the drawing board.
Hades, Dusa, needing a nap badly
Oh, there wasn't time for this! But, her eyes grew heavy and her snakes curled up around her and she never could refuse his every whim no matter what else lay on her long, oh so long list of things to do around the House. Dusa succumbed to a nap at last, tucked safely between Cerberus' paws, and there was nary a thing anyone could or would do about it in the faces of those three fierce heads.
Ghost Trick, Alma, time is passing
When the truth comes out Alma stares at their young daughter and knows she was there then and she will remain here now by the good graces of their new-found feline guardian.
When that terrible time arrives again her daughter is older now, happy and safe; the kitten remains unchanged and they are protected.
Time passes on and they're all in new territory; her daughter is older still, happy and clever, and their house is regularly riddled with her work, while for their protector, it seems no time has passed at all until Alma watches the kitten help her daughter with her newest project and she knows they've all moved on.
Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, L'Arachel, noblesse oblige
Rennac cast his eyes heavenward as if any help could be found there regarding her while Dozla laughed and hurried after L'Arachel's purposeful march, and despite knowing better by now he asked, "And why are we willingly going into a bandit death trap?"
"For honour and glory, dear Rennac, and as a wandering hero it is our duty—nay our privilege to help that poor village!" L'Arachel declared in her grandest tones. "Have you not heard of Nobless Oblige?" she demanded to which Rennac could only sigh and wonder when such a mentality might just apply to him.
Bastion, Zia &-or-/ Kid, finding somewhere new
It's hope born of destruction that guides them away and drives them forward, hope that maybe somewhere, somehow there is still something out there. Maybe there's another bastion or maybe somewhere wholly new and untouched, but one way or another she knows there is a place for them.
Zia and the kid catch other's gaze before staring toward the horizon touched with the golden glow of a rising sun and share a smile.
Any fandom (FFVI), any characters (Celes & Sabin), accidentally falling asleep on each other.
It was colder these days, especially at night when the red skies would fade to dark and only the ocean could be heard washing against the shore and sometimes it felt that only it remained unchanged.
It wasn't; Sabin remained the same as ever, a steady presence at Celes' side and they sat together against one of their chocobos in silence, but taking some comfort from each other's presence and warmth.
More comfort than Celes expected when she felt Sabin's head drop to rest against her shoulder, and she could only assume he was more tired than he had let on, but she said nothing of it when she woke the next morning to discover she had fallen to the same fate, her head pillowed against his.
Hades, any, escape
He was so close this time and the thought won't leave him as he drags himself down the hall again—he's lost track of how many times it's been—but he's relieved to see that while Hades hasn't come back yet, Cerberus has. Zagreus lets himself flop against the dog's chest and buries his face in his fur.
"Next time, boy, I will escape," he says, "and don't worry, I'll find you the best snack while I'm there as well."
